| I installed Mplayer on my computer yesterday and noticed this Gator crap in the lower right corner of my screen
(by the clock) and I couldn't get rid of it. I ran Adaware (Free download) and finally the Gator was dead. If you
read the software license agreement, sometimes they will disclose the facts and tell you that MARKETING SOFTWARE
has been added. I tried to say NO to Gator and Mplayer Installation stopped. I had no choice. The work around is
to load the software, accept the agreement, then run Adaware to delete the Spyware and fix the registry entries. |
